DIY Painted Bedside Tables

We got a new bed!
(We are sharing more details about that here…)

So, we took this opportunity to spruce up our bedroom a bit. It wasn’t on the DIY agenda, but sometimes when you make one small change it leads to a few more changes.

Our bedside tables needed to be more narrow so we separated a vintage desk to come up with two identical tables. We painted them with Country Chic Paint in Sunday Tea (limited edition color) and added some Bliss triangles. Get all the details here – including a picture of the desk before we took it apart.

Oh, and I used Country Chic Paint’s Pearl Wax for the first time and now I want to wax ALL THE THINGS… It’s the perfect amount of shimmer without being over the top.

If you’re like us, your bedroom is usually the last room in the house to get any attention – DIY attention, that is.

We didn’t make a lot of changes here, but it was enough to freshen up our little slumbering space just a bit. I can’t wait to tell you about my new lamps so stay tuned…

Cheers!
