Haven Conference
A few years ago, Corey and I attended our first-ever Haven Conference. Read about our second date with Haven a few years ago. And we keep coming back.
Here’s why:
- Swag bag full of DIY goodies.
- Spending time with other like-minded DIYers, makers and bloggers (especially my friends from The Striped House, Domestic Charm, Design Asylum Blog and Red Door Furniture Co.).
- Connecting with brands and learning about new products in the home space.
- Cocktails.
- No children! It’s a brief getaway for the hubby and I.
This year I’ll be hosting a make-and-take session with DecoArt and I’m still pinching myself! I remember attending our first Haven event with all the nerves and feels of a new kid in school. We didn’t know anyone or what to expect. We were shy newbies trying to figure things out and meet our people.
Fast forward a few years. We’ve met lots of our people and look forward to hanging out with them again!
And now, I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of the project that I will be teaching others how to make!?! We’ll be using their new Vintage Effect Wash to create an ombre effect on these adorable United States wall hangings. I’m working on a sample to share with you soon and I know you’re going to love it!

More Vintage Obsession.
By the way, have you seen this collection of paint colors by HGTV Home and Sherwin Williams? It’s called vintage finds and they describe it as old-school vibes with a contemporary edge. Sounds dreamy. If my life had a color, it would be Refresh. Just sayin’.
Ok, that’s it for now. I’ll see you all in a few weeks after our vacation.
