Find out how I turned a vintage metal cart into colorful DIY vinyl record storage by paint pouring with metallic paint. I am part of the DecoArt core blogger team for 2018-2019. This post and paint is sponsored by DecoArt, but all opinions, ideas and creative inspo are from me.
Most of my go-to boredom busters usually involve paint. And there’s nothing more fun than swirling a bunch of colors together and pouring them on – no brush needed! It’s easy with a little DecoArt paint pouring medium.
Remember when I paint poured this USA decor a while back? Well I tried this process again but this time on a much larger scale.
I used this same paint pouring technique to give an old cart a refresh using some chic metallic shades of paint. The result is a super psychedelic cart that is perfect for storing our vinyl collection and record player. Plus, it looks so cute even when we aren’t playing tunes on it.
You can see the step-by-step process over at DecoArt so click here to head on over.
It’s a really fun process that gives a modern edge to your repurposed projects.
Have you tried paint pouring yet? I’d love to know what you think!
